Un-Opened Item Grading Procedures
Wax Pack, Cello, Rack, Tray and Boxes
- Authenticity - Factory cello, pack, rack, or box. Print quality and wrap match factory issue.
- Alterations - Cello, pack, racks; boxes have not been resealed, re-colored, re-wrapped, or any other type of alteration. There must be clear and convincing evidence that can be articulated why an unopened item has been altered.
- Surface Condition - Wrinkles, tears, creases, and any other type of surface problem.
- Gum Condition - Broken, disintegrated or intact.
- Corner Wear - Fraying, tears, bends, discoloration.
- Edges - Tears, fraying, wrinkles, discoloration or any other type of flaws.
- Print Defects - Determine if there are print flaws and whether the print defects impact the overall eye appeal.
- Staining - Water, gum, mildew or any other type of stain.
- Un-opened Seal - Verify the type of factory seal. Complete seal, partial seal or no seal
- Overall Eye Appeal - Determine if the unopened item has superior eye appeal. Determine Final Grade.
