Global Authority Reports Positive Website Growth and Impressive First Quarter Company Developments

Bettendorf, Iowa - September 17th, 2009 — Global Authority, the leader in card and pack grading and education, under new ownership since March 2009 , is seeing encouraging growth of their new brand and reports positive website statistics.

Global Authority’s website traffic continues to gradually climb and since April the company has seen a 52% increase in overall website visits, and a nearly 100% increase in pages viewed on the site. Global Authority also reports that the “bounce rate” has decreased and average time spent on their website has nearly doubled. Demian Werner, Global’s president and CEO states “we are excited to see our statistics headed in this direction as an indication that consumer interest is on the rise and the new brand is strong.”

Werner adds “Global Authority’s continued investment in research and development of new products and services combined with advanced website features has clearly escalated our visibility and our products are resonating well with our patrons.” Additional company developments and activity over the last four months:

• Launch of a Submission Kiosk system enabling clients to directly input the submitted items information directly into the Global Database via the website. The service has created a fast and secure way for submissions. Once the order is approved it uploads to the database and sends it directly to the Global Auth. Grading department.

• Introduction of a Premium and Premium Plus membership program offering unique services. The USB Flash Drive is a highlight of the program; offering scanned images of submitted items creating a digital catalog. A member can send the flash drive back each time over the course of the membership year. The images can be used as “auction ready” as a certified image adding additional security and confidence to the buyer.

• Fulfillment of a contract for ten thousand graded cards to be nationally distributed through Walmart and Myers. The product, Gems of the Game, is currently available on store shelves. Gems of the Game pieces are inclusive of a free three-month trial membership to anyone who has purchased this product and registers the certification number on the back of the product.

• Attendance at this years National Collectors Sports Convention. Global Authority provided on-site grading for cards and wax packs, launched a new website version, and launched new products and services.

• The Global Passport division has placed and sold some very unique graded collectibles. A recent sale of a 1986 Fleer Basketball wax box illustrates the advantages of using Global’s placement services. Autographed items placed in an upcoming auction are highlighted as some of the more impressive auction lots. To see current Passport items visit us at http://www.globalauth.com/services/global-passport.

• Global Passport recently secured one of the largest card collections within the industry. This high profile collection from one of the biggest companies in the sports marketplace features some of the most sought after sets available in the industry (T206 White Border set less the big five all the way up to modern times). The amount of cards eligible for grading is staggering.

• The wax pack and unopened division has grown dramatically with steady and robust growth in all offered services. A coming addition… the population report and wax pack registry to further strengthen the market position of Global Authority and offer clients useful and innovative way to leverage key resources.

“These featured highlights demonstrate our commitment to leading the trade by leveraging our experience and innovation. We’re confident collectors understand and appreciate our stated vision of developing products and services, which will keep us at the forefront of our industry,” says Mike Baker, Director of Grading.

Baker adds “While the featured highlights have been completed within the last four months, our future plans over the remainder of the year are compelling and creative. We will continue to be aggressive by adding value to our brand and expanding our range of services for our clients. One of our core assets is our communication with our client base.”
